The University of Illinois will host a number of events in the next week to celebrate the Illinois volleyball team's appearance in the NCAA Final Four in Minneapolis, Minn., including a team send off, watch parties, pregame pep rallies and a return home celebration. 



SEND OFF (Tuesday, Dec. 11) – 5:15 to 6 p.m. at Huff Hall

Fans are invited to join members of the Marching Illini in sending off the Illinois volleyball team as they depart for Minneapolis at Huff Hall. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. with a send-off pep rally beginning around 5:30 p.m. Parking is available and free at Huff Hall and surrounding campus lots.   

CHAMPAIGN-URBANA WATCH PARTY (Thursday, Dec. 13) – 8 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings Savoy

Fans can be amongst members of the Illini Family watching and cheering on the Illinois volleyball team in the semifinal match against Nebraska at Buffalo Wild Wings in Savoy (1335 Savoy Plaza Ln. Drive). With an Illini win, a second watch party will also be held at Buffalo Wild Wings for the NCAA Championship match on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m.

MINNEAPOLIS PEP RALLY AND PREGAME PARTY (Thursday, Dec. 13) – 5:30 p.m. The Pourhouse (10 S. 5th St. #11)

Fans traveling to Minneapolis to follow the Illinois volleyball team at the Final Four can take part in the event's pep rally beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a pregame party to view the first semifinal match between BYU and Stanford. SEASON CELEBRATION (Sunday, Dec. 16) – 1 p.m. Huff Hall

Win or lose, Illinois Volleyball has given fans a season to remember and it will be celebrated in style at Huff Hall upon the team's return from Minneapolis on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. Join members of the Marching Illini, Athletic Department dignitaries, the Illini volleyball team and all the fans as we honor and celebrate the 2018 Illinois Volleyball season. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. Parking is available and free at Huff Hall and surrounding campus lots.
