Chicago Illini Celebrate Homecoming at the Bean in Millenium Park
Alumni and friends take part in the fun of Homecoming and demonstrate the power, presence and spirit of Illini in Chicago at Millennium Park.
Millennium Park, Fri., Oct. 26, 2012
Over 100 alumni and friends gathered in Millenium Park at noon on Friday, October 26 to share their school pride and demonstrate the power, presence and the spirit of Illini in Chicago.
Wearing the Orange and Blue, singing "Hail to the Orange," and cheering "I-L-L ... I-N-I" the gathering turned the plaza in front of the "Bean" into an impromptu pep rally in support of their Alma Mater.
An annual Chicago Illini Homecoming event may have gotten its start in 2012.
Couldn't make it to the Bean? Wear the school colors on Homecoming Weekend (October 26-27), take your picture, and post it on the Illinois Alumni Facebook page.
And if you’re one of the lucky ones who’ll be celebrating Homecoming on campus, this list of activities will ensure you don’t miss a thing!
