UI alumnus to run across Illinois to raise awareness for Rett Syndrome

Bill Babiarz's daughter Cammy suffers from Rett's disease and he wants to share their story.

U of I Alumni Bill and Jackie Babiarz are parents to a 4-year-old named Cameron. Cameron (or “Cammy”) suffers from Rett syndrome, which is a developmental disorder that affects her speech, walking, and motor skills. Bill wants to raise awareness for his daughter’s disorder and is doing so by running 150 miles across the state of Illinois in four days.
