Leave a Greeting to Future Illinois Alumni with Alma

"To thy happy children of the future those of the past send greetings."
Celebrate the return of Alma Mater to campus by sending a message to future generations of Alumni!

After being gone nearly two years for extensive restoration, the much-beloved Alma Mater sculpture group will soon return to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. When it does, a time capsule will be placed in the pedestal for rediscovery far into the future.
Back when you were a student, you were one of the “Happy Children of the Future,” referred to in the inscription at the base of Lorado Taft’s sculpture. Today, as part of the University of Illinois alumni family, you now have the historic opportunity to be one of “Those of the Past” sending greetings.
The campus invites you to submit a message to the future University of Illinois community, but you must act soon. Follow the link below for more details and to complete the official submission form by March 30, 2014.

If you have questions or concerns, or need help with this message, contact the University of Illinois Alumni Association via e-mail at alumni@uillinois.edu.  You can also reach us by phone during regular business hours (8:30a-5:00p CDT) at 217/333-1471 or 800/355-2586 for assistance.
